DELIVERY TIMES & HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

  • Transit Time Estimates

    The transit times listed below reflect estimated UPS Ground shipping times, shown in business days only (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). These estimates begin once your order has shipped and do not include processing time. While most orders arrive within these timeframes, delivery times may vary slightly due to carrier conditions or other factors outside our control.

  • When will my order ship?

    Orders placed by 1:00 PM ET typically ship the same business day, provided all items in the order are available to ship immediately.

    Orders placed after 1:00 PM ET will ship the next business day.

    If your order includes items with different availability dates, the order will ship once all items are ready, in one package.

    We do not process or ship orders on Fridays, weekends, Jewish holidays, and federal holidays. Orders placed during these times will begin processing on the next business day.

  • What if I selected a delivery date at checkout?

    We do our best to meet your requested delivery date. Most orders arrive on time. 

    Please note that once your order has been handed over to the carrier, we are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping provider, weather disruptions, service interruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control. While we will gladly assist in tracking your shipment and submitting carrier inquiries when possible, we cannot guarantee delivery dates or offer refunds for delays resulting from carrier-related issues.

  • Will my order take longer to ship during holidays or busy seasons?

    Holiday seasons may delay warehouse processing

    Holidays that may impact shipping:

    • UPS closures: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas
    • Challahandco.com closures: Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot (first & last days), Purim, Passover (first & last days), Shavuot

  • How do you handle perishable items?

    Some of our products are freshly baked or highly perishable. To maintain quality:

    • Certain items may only ship earlier in the week.
    • We avoid shipments that would remain in transit over the weekend.
    • Some items are limited to a maximum of 2 business days in transit.

    If your location requires faster shipping to maintain freshness, you may be prompted to select expedited delivery at checkout.

    Our priority is always to ensure your order arrives fresh and in excellent condition.


SHIPPING FEES & OPTIONS

  • What qualifies for free shipping?

    We offer free UPS Ground shipping on orders over $159.
    Orders below that amount ship for a flat rate of $12.99.

    Certain specialty or highly perishable items may require expedited shipping based on destination and transit time.

  • Need it faster?

    If you need your order sooner, UPS 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air options are available at checkout. Expedited shipping may be required for certain perishable items depending on your location.

  • Who's your shipping partner?

    We ship exclusively via UPS.


ORDER CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS

  • I just placed my order, can I still make changes?

    If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible. Once your order has been processed or prepared for shipment, we may not be able to modify it.

    We recommend reaching out by email with your order number and requested changes.

    If your order has already been processed and you need to change or correct the shipping address, the best option is to sign up for a free UPS My Choice account. Once you receive your tracking number, you can request delivery changes or redirect the package to a UPS Access Point.

  • What if something is out of stock?

    We’ll contact you via email with options: wait, substitute, or remove the item. If we don’t hear back within 2 business days, we’ll ship the rest of your order without the missing item. You will not be charged for any items we’re unable to fulfill.


KOSHER CERTIFICATION & ALLERGENS

  • Are your products kosher certified?

    All of our products are kosher certified. Specific certifications are listed on individual product pages and in our Kosher Certification section.

  • What about allergens?

    We provide allergen information on each product page and in our Allergen section. If you have specific concerns, please reach out before placing your order.


RETURN POLICY

  • Can I return my order?

    Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns.

  • What if there is an issue with my order?

    If your order arrives damaged or there is a quality issue, please contact us as soon as possible and include photos if applicable. We review concerns on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement, store credit, or a refund.

  • How do refunds work?

    When applicable, refunds are processed to your original payment method and may take up to 2 weeks to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
